20220923 - Letter to Maryland Board of Public Accountancy (view)
CPA and board were notified on 9/23 and given until 9/30. Unfortunately, the CPA was 'accidentally' left off from his notice while others were cc'd. An honest mistake that could happen to anyone. Given his lack of response anyway, we have to wonder if the Maryland Board of Accountancy, Chaired by James Marshall, reached out to him or if they let him sit in the dark for a week. . They were asked to help out, so surely they reached out, and we'll have to ask for that confirmation later...
The Maryland Department of Labor and Licensing (MD DLLR) handles the complaint communications. The Complaint Review is purportedly done by all or some of the Maryland Board of Accounting. It's unclear who actually is involved in those reviews.
